Iberian Lynx photography hide

Although we don't own states with Lynx hides we have teamed up with the best Lynx hides in Sierra Morena. The hides are located from Córdoba to Andújar and Ciudad Real.

We help many photographers every year to book Lynx hides through us. We take care of everything, advising Lyxn status and booking the hides that provide the best results at a given moment. To date, our daily success rate is slightly above 50%!

AVAILABLE: good results all year round.

MEETING POINT: variable depending on which hide to go.

DURATION: normally two shifts of 4 h each (morning and evening). Sometimes a day shift of 8 h.

SEATS: up to 16 spots in different hides if booked well in advance.

SHOOTING DISTANCE: 1 - 25 m. Most common range is 15 m.

HIDE TYPE: from small wood cabins with spyglass to large rooms without. Generally comfortable but often cold inside. Some of them have toilets built-in and spotlights when light conditions are too dim.

FARES: 200 € per person.

TIPS

Is bait allowed? Absolutely not. Lynx are attracted to hides as these private states have managed to improve the presence of rabbits over the years -their main prey-. Water ponds also help!

How likely is the Lynx to come? We always recommend booking 2 days in the hides, but if you just have 1 day for this, you'll be glad to know the success rate we have had in the last years exceeds 50%!

Good to bring: Warm clothing (October to May), lenses 300-600 mm, spare camera, cards and batteries. Oh yes, patience!
